«این تابلوی رنگ روغن که در سال ۱۳۸۷ ـ ۱۳۸۶خلق شد، روایت یک مسیر آرام است؛

راهی باریک که به کلبه‌ای کوچک و صمیمی می‌رسد.

مردی بر روی گاری چوبی‌اش، آرام و بی‌صدا، به سوی خانه می‌رود

و برکه‌ای کوچک در کنار جاده، سکوت و زیبایی لحظه را در خود منعکس کرده است.

 

اما این تابلو برای من چیزی فراتر از یک منظره است؛

هر ضربهٔ قلم‌مو یادآور سال‌های دور است، بوی فصل‌های گذشته،

و آرامشی که فقط در خاطرات کودکی پیدا می‌شود.

 

این اثر برای من دریچه‌ای‌ست به روزگاری که زندگی آهسته‌تر،

دل‌ها ساده‌تر و دنیا مهربان‌تر بود.

تابلو سرشار از حسِ دلتنگیِ شیرین است؛

از خاطراتی که هرگز کهنه نمی‌شوند

و از گذشته‌ای که هنوز در رنگ‌های این بوم نفس می‌کشد.»
